Friends preview of DESIGNING HOLLYWOOD

Join other Museum Friends for the official opening of our fall season and a first look at the extraordinary exhibition Designing Hollywood: Golden Age Costumes from the Gene London Cinema Collection. Members will enjoy complimentary hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar plus the opportunity to meet Gene London in person. This members-only event is free.

Attendees will also experience an amazing display of eleven vintage Golden Age automobiles from The NB Center for American Automotive Heritage on Fifth Street, directly in front of the Museum, including
• 1930 GMC Series H Yellow Cab, as seen in It’s a Wonderful Life (1946)
• 1930 Graham Model 46 Town Sedan, once owned by Peter Yarrow of Peter, Paul, and Mary and featured on the cover of their record Album 1700
• 1940 Buick Super Estate Wagon, a model that debuted at the Coconut Club in Los Angeles in front of film director Norman McLeod
