ABOUT ABOUT

Possibilities of Paper: The role paper plays in art and everyday life

In this interactive museum visit students will explore the possibilities of paper, both in art and everyday life. Students will explore works from both the permanent collection and Above the Fold: New Expressions in Origami that utilize paper in new ways. Following the tour, students will work with Museum Educators on an altered book project where they will tell their own story by using a variety of new techniques, taking inspiration from the paper-based works from their gallery experience.
