Told entirely in her own words, Inocente is a coming-of-age documentary about the determination of a teenage artist who struggles with homelessness, undocumented status, and poverty to win recognition for her whimsical, colorful artworks. Presented in conjunction with the SouthSide Film Institute of Bethlehem, Inocente is the winner of the 2012 Academy Award for Best Documentary Short Subject. This movie is shown in the Museum’s Auxiliary Auditorium, 40 minutes running time.
