This weekend, curators Patrick and Jeannie Wilshire are bringing fantastic art back to the Allentown Art Museum! llluXCon, the annual exhibition/symposium/celebration of the world's premier imaginative realists, is attracting artists, collectors, students, and art fans from around the world to the Lehigh Valley. Of the ninety juried artists coming from eight countries to exhibit their work at llluXCon 6, forty were included in the Museum's summer 2012 exhibition At the Edge: Art of the Fantastic. The artists you'll see at llluXCon apply their vast artistic skills to the imaginative--whether producing fine art, designing album covers, or contributing their creativity and skill working on films or in other popular media. Prepare to be blown away. Again!
Please note that IlluXCon is open to the public on Saturday and Sunday, September 14-15, with access to artist booths in the upstairs galleries and downstairs in Fuller Gallery and our Community Gallery.
