Piero Baglioni, a pioneer of nano-based conservation technologies, will present a free lecture on the extraordinary advances that have been made in art conservation. Professor Bagloni is director of the University of Florence’s Center for Colloid and Surface Science (Consorzio Interuniversitario per lo Sviluppo dei Sistemi a Grande Interfase, or CSGI) and a featured guest at the workshop “Nanotechnologies for Cultural Conservation: Current Trends and Practices” that the Museum is hosting this weekend in partnership with the IDEAL Ceter for Innovation of Lafayette College.
