Lisa Minardi, Assistant Curator at Winterthur Museum, is an expert on Pennsylvania German art and architecture. This illustrated presentation will focus on Pennsylvania German fraktur (decorated manuscripts) and painted furniture, including a close look at pieces in the A Shared Legacy exhibition.
A book sale and signing will be held afterward featuring Ms. Minardi's latest publications, A Colorful Folk: Pennsylvania Germans & the Art of Everyday Life and Drawn with Spirit: Pennsylvania German Fraktur from the Joan and Victor Johnson Collection.
